Dean Romig 09-25-2017 10:30 PM

thanks guys for your input . what would a ballpark be on the value? the bores are rough on this gun .

Jerry Harlow 09-26-2017 06:42 PM

Can't read serial number well but if it is 38696, cut from 30" to 26" according to book, grade 0. What is the number and do they look cut? Probably cylinder and cylinder; $500 +/-.

tom cameron 09-26-2017 06:54 PM

they are cyl /cyl.bbls have not been cut

Jerry Harlow 09-26-2017 06:58 PM

If that is the correct number the Parker Serialization book shows it left as a 30".

thanks a bunch for your time . so , evidently these bbl are shortened . i did read in the blue book (i think) that some of these guns were made with 26 " cyl/cyl bores, and there was a premium added to value .

Mills Morrison 09-27-2017 03:16 PM

IMHO the barrels have been shortened

Dean Romig 09-27-2017 04:25 PM

IMHO too.
