PSA: Kent Bismuth
I used Kent Bismuth this weekend and was very impressed. I used it in an old GH and it was deadly.

i wonder if this is a new formulation - the graphics have changed and the new 25 round box is a bargain compared to last year's 10 round boxes
"Kent now offers bismuth in 25 round packages. I found Kent Bismuth at online retailers for $35 box for 12 gauge and $33 box for 20 gauge with discounts on case purchases." |
I used the 25 round box.

I have it on good authority that the new Kent Bismuth pellets are spin cast in molds at high speed, which eliminates most all misshapen and hollow pellets.

I can't comment on the Kent bismuth yet as I have'nt shot what I bought in 20 ga. . I'll have to wait till after deer season. But I've shot the Rio bismuth in 12 ga. 2 3/4" 4's and was very impressed with it's performance on ducks and geese. Last weekend I shot the Bismuth Cartridge Company made in England in the 28 ga. and had no complaints. I was, and still am, a Tungsten Matrix fan but this new Bismuth has been fine in this early season.

Kent Bismuth
Used it last week in Kansas on ducks and geese out of my 12 DH and it killed well, very good patterns. Used 2 3/4 #2 & #4 in full choke tubes.

It was a longer shot and the duck fell stone dead.

More photos. Short but fun hunt.

I just bought two boxes of Kent Bismuth from Cabelas for around $35 per box, #4. I plan to use it in my 12 ga LC Smith, F/F, on sea ducks soon. I'll post my results. If I miss, it was obviously the faulty shells :-)
