Crossover stocked guns?

Is there a market for these? I have a Belgian one in 12 Gauge that I like but it does not play well in the safe or rack. It is right handed set up for left eye dominant shooting. Do people collect them?

There is a very limited market. Mostly as curiosities since other options are available to shooters today. Plus... it's Belgian. They just don't have the cachet factor of a Purdey or H&H.

But, if some right handed/left eye fellow wants a very nice shooter and sure-fire conversation starter, THIS gun is it!

Best to offer it online through GB or GI.

Wait until Murph sees this.

Let me guess, I shouldn't have asked?

Ryan - If you're reacting to my post, it was meant to be a light jab at Bill Murphy, who owns and shoots several different crossover guns. Hope he'll chime in

Great, I welcome the information. I seem to ask questions here that get folks riled up. All out of curiosity and learning.

Ryan, they don't get riled up.... they're just passionate about the guns they love and admire.

I have had a few. Everyone wants to look at them and few want to own them. Good luck!

Ryan:

Dean is correct and maybe being too modest to add what I will add: That when a virtual Brain Trust of Parker and vintage gun experts (a cohort of which I am not member, but a number of PGCA Forum habitués certainly are) comment, digress, and debate and about a proposed gun, we the curious are the decided beneficiaries.

And, don’t be taken aback by the occasional precipitations of éclat and brio; it all comes at no charge for the consultation.

If you haven’t already, do participate in some PGCA-sponsored events. You will be welcomed, edified and have some great fun, too.

I'd love to get my hands on one of those for a day.
