Cheek Riser Recommendations
I have a gun that has about 1/4 in too much drop.
Can anyone that has one recommend a nice leather riser? Best, Brett |
The clear rubber, adhesive backed, Beretta is about the neatest riser available, nearly invisible.

Thanks Bill, this is for a 16ga Sterlingworth in very nice condition. Is there a chance that the adhesive would damage the stock finish?

Thanks so much guys. Just ordered on Amazon and it will arrive on Monday!

Just make sure you clean the stock before you put it on. And just leave it on. They do not do well with taking them off and on again over and over. I have had decent luck with them. But recently I had a Parker that I could just not get one to stick to for the life of me.

Maybe not an issue for everyone, but these gel pads go down a bit on both sides, which will effectively add cast. When I first applied one, I found it was like way too much, and removing it, and re-applying it such that the edge was only just over the top edge of the comb corrected it. |

I bought a few of these off eBay several years ago and never got around to using them. I am not sure how well they would work, but seemed like a correct way to get less drop on a vintage gun and look right. Has anyone ever used one?
