Just wanted to share a quick pic of two L C Smith "Long Range" guns that will be hunting along with my regulars this year. Both are 1927 guns, 12-gauge of course, 32 inchers with factory 3-inch chambers and original tight choking. Double triggers.
Both Smiths are on idle right now. There are some geese around but few ducks, and turkey season isn't open as yet. |

I'll be taking my most recently acquired LongRange into the marsh this year, its a field grade not near the condition of yours, but with ejectors which are a little uncommon for field grades. |
Those haven't banged around in many duck boats. Great finds!

lovely guns...the lc smith longrange gun really pattern well...my long range will shoot 92 percent at 40 yards 30 inch circle....i bought a long range barrel that has modified chokes both barrels i shoot steel loads through it for ducks so far no damage to barrels or the wood....i hope you a many of a good hunt with these guns...charlie

I dunno why as I’ve never been a big fan of 12 gauge 3” . But for some reason for a number of years I’ve wanted an LC Long Range or Wildfowler as well as a Fox HE .
