Dave,
These little crank shafts tend to give up the ghost after 140 years or so. I have had to change the right firing pin on both my 1881 Lifters. One is a 10 gauge ane the other a 12. You'll love shooting it. Harry |
There is a member here who makes those things. I have one of his in my lifter gun. Help. Who is that?

Bill,
I'm pretty sure it is Dave Purnell. Harry |
Thanks for the reply
I have been shooting this gun for over 30 years and I do love it! I inherited from my father in law .... he cut the barrels down to 18 1/4 inches. I wish he had not done that but it is what it is. I shoot birds for minnow farms and use this gun to dispatch wounded birds up close.

I believe Brian Dudley can supply those firing pins.

Dave no longer makes them, he hasn't for about 4 years now. I took over sale of the lifter firing pins from Dave. The OP has already purchased a pair of them from me. They are on their way to him currently. |
