Picked up what is only my second ever D M Lefever on my way to Texas last weekend. First was a EE that didn't stay long. It has already proven itself on Texas Quail.

Very nice!! I see quite a few differences from the CE-Grade I have. What is the vintage of your gun? Mine has dropper points behind the sideplates while yours has the inlays.
Attachment 69164 You have a lever-style forearm while mine, with in-frame ejectors, has a snap-on/-off forearm with the bakelite insert. Attachment 69165 Attachment 69166 |
No pigs tonite.
Guns serial # dates to 1905 while a 1907 patent date is stamped on receiver bottom. 28" barrels choked Cyl/Full with Extractors. Perfect bores. LOP 14 1/8" to factory butt plate DAC 1 1/2" DAH 2 9/16" Bob Jurewicz |
Bob congrats on a very nice gun. My 16 is IC/F a combination I was skeptical of but have come to enjoy.
Quail on day pigs the next, warmer weather I'm jealous:bowdown::) |
