Parker fever
1 Attachment(s)
New guy checking in from TX. I have collected US military guns for 20+ years
And have enjoyed the research and the chase... The collection is long gone now . Then I got the bug to buy a few shotguns . Started with a few Model 42’s... and then I had a chance to buy a well documented 1932 VH 410.... now I’m hooked .... I’m looking for advice from fellow “collectors “ on what I should be looking for. I’m not a shooter but that might change if I find another Britney :) I’m thinking a 28g and a 20g to start and perhaps a hammer gun ... Lots to learn but I’m on my way with a few Parker books.. |
Welcome Kurt!
That’s quite the “starter” Parker my friend!! Keep looking for Parkers with that level of originality and condition and you’ll do fine!!! . |

Welcome Kurt! You are definitely starting off in the rare air area of Parker Guns. Nice find for Parker #1. Best wishes for finding that 28g. The 20 shouldn't be too difficult. I like your comment "Then perhaps a hammer gun...". Parker hammer guns are so much fun to shoot. Enjoy the "hunt"!!

Right Mike, like a nice graded 16 gauge 0-frame Lifter.

Well I wouldn't know about that Dean. :rotf:

Kurt,
Please careful "Parker Fever" is not curable by any known antibiotic. But it's one of the best fever you'll ever get!!! |
Welcome to the PGCA! I am west of Houston. Where in this huge state do you live?
