Parker fever

New guy checking in from TX. I have collected US military guns for 20+ years
And have enjoyed the research and the chase...
The collection is long gone now . Then I got the bug to buy a few shotguns . Started with a few Model 42’s... and then I had a chance to buy a well documented
1932 VH 410.... now I’m hooked ....
I’m looking for advice from fellow “collectors “ on what I should be looking for.
I’m not a shooter but that might change if I find another Britney :)
I’m thinking a 28g and a 20g to start and perhaps a hammer gun ...
Lots to learn but I’m on my way with a few Parker books..

Welcome Kurt!

That’s quite the “starter” Parker my friend!!

Keep looking for Parkers with that level of originality and condition and you’ll do fine!!!

Welcome Kurt! You are definitely starting off in the rare air area of Parker Guns. Nice find for Parker #1. Best wishes for finding that 28g. The 20 shouldn't be too difficult. I like your comment "Then perhaps a hammer gun...". Parker hammer guns are so much fun to shoot. Enjoy the "hunt"!!

Right Mike, like a nice graded 16 gauge 0-frame Lifter.

Kurt,

Please careful "Parker Fever" is not curable by any known antibiotic. But it's one of the best fever you'll ever get!!!
