Hello everyone. I'm a new member and this is my first post.

I inherited an 1875 Parker from my dad recently. It has been in my family for many years and I'm trying to figure out exactly what I have plus an estimated value if possible. Below are some of the specs and I will attach some pictures as well. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Serial # 42618
12 Gauge
32" Barrel
Frame Size = 3
Steel Type = Twist

Your Parker was made in 1884 and it is a 10 gauge, grade-0 or 1 and was originally made with 32" barrels.

Thank you! Any idea what a value range would be?

It appears to be in pretty decent condition but the determining factor in evaluating a gun such as yours, is the condition of the bores and the barrel wall thickness. Some others may hazard a guess as to its value but I won't.

Thank you! This is very helpful. Is there a recommended way of measuring the thickness or I guess what is considered a "good/strong" thickness?

Evaluating barrels is a job for an experienced double gun smith. I wouldn't rely on the corner black gun guy. Where do you live? Perhaps there is someone close to you who has the proper equipment and may be able to make the evaluation

I live in Northeast Ohio.
