Donnie Gennes at Show Me Gunstocks knows how to stock a hammer gun. He is reputed to be reasonable for stocking of field grade guns.

WOW!!! I have an O grade O frame that was a 36" 16 ga and got sleaved to a 20 ga. I now want to hang a 28 ga barrels on it but no luck so far.

David,

I've been thinking about GaugeMates to make mine a 28 gauge. I know I will never have a Parker 28 gauge hammer gun otherwise. How long are the barrels of your 20 gauge? Mine are 28" and I was told that Lefever did the work. While talking to DelGrego I was told that they did the work. Who's to know.

Mine are 26" choked 005 & 015. They were sleaved in Birmingham. I use 12 ga gold gagemates in my 10 hammer and they do a good job

David,
I received a call yesterday from the owner of Simmons Gun Repair. If we can get it done in time they will be running an ad in the summer issue of Parker Pages. One of their new projects is reproducing ribs for Parkers and LC Smiths on there CNC equipment. During our conversation he told me they can either mono-block or make new complete barrel sets for our Parkers with original style rib less the roll stamped/engraved text. This might be a better option than trying to find an original set of 28 gage barrels. Larry
