Barrel Replacement

There is a set of Parker Special Steel barrels with the ejector forearm on Ebay.
What would a set of barrels like those be worth and are they difficult to fit. I noticed there was not the last 3 digits of the serial number on the piece under the dolls head. I do have a 1 1/2 frame GH with Damascus barrels which were pitted such that I put tubes in to shoot 28 gauge. I like shooting the gun as it has a miller single trigger. Thought it would be nice to have a set of steel barrels so I could shoot 12 gauge. Any thoughts are appreciated.

David, did you have your original Damascus barrels checked by an expert with the proper tools to determine that the pitting had compromised the wall thickness to the point that they are unsafe to shoot? A lot of us shoot composite steel barrels that are moderately pitted but still have sufficient wall thickness for safe shooting with appropriate loads.

Dean, I did not. I don't know of anyone in the Greenville, SC area who can do so.

There is no guarantee on fitting barrels to another gun. Every set is different and it can be a little work or a lot of work. And you never know until you have them in hand and start doing the fitting work.
Barrels have to be the same frame size and also having them close in serial number helps too.

You also mention your gun is a GH. Which would imply it does not have ejectors. Unless you meant GHE. Ejector barrels can be modified to fit on an extractor gun, but it is not ideal.

Thank you, that tells me what I need to know.
