Need forend for 28 gauge

I've heavily damaged a splinter forend from a drop. It doesn't appear to be cracked, but the damage is deep - all the way through the checkering in three places.

Am hoping to find that someone might have an extra. Okay if it doesn't have the metal, okay if it does. Would take a beavertail as well... Please let me know via PM.

Rex, What grade gun? Ejector or extractor?

Great questions!

It's a reproduction, 28 gauge, DHE (Ejectors)

If the damage is all in the checkering, it can likely be repaired to be not visible.

I do have several new pieces of forend wood for repros, but they are all technically 20g, but they may be interchangeable. A check of the dimensions would confirm.

I should have thought of that - thank you. I have a 20 gauge as well as the 28 and will check fit when back home.
