IMR loading guide from 1999
1 Attachment(s)
I've hung on to this guide for a long time, and I thought I'd scan it to a pdf and share it with everyone. It's from April, 1999 and has a lot of data at 6000psi and lower for our vintage guns. I realize that PB and SR7625 are discontinued, but there's still valuable data with 700X and 800X powders. Of course, the AA hull data is for the original, not the new HS style.
Maybe one of admins can make it a sticky or something? Enjoy! Rick |
By 1999 the "new" Winchester two piece AA hull was out and the old compression formed one piece was gone. Winchester/Olin claimed the machines making the old style had worn out. They also published the new hulls could be reloaded exactly the same way as the old ones.

I happen to have a copy as well ! Also happen to have a lifetime supply now of SR7625 .

I have an IMR manual from 1972 and ones from 1982, 1994 1999, and a lifetime supply of 4756. It's interesting reading over my reloading notes when I was in my early 20's. The interesting thing is even back then I was concerned about low pressure (then it was LUP) and velocities at or around 1200fps.
