squirl hunting

yesterday afternoon my grandson cole came by and ask if i wanted to go hunting for a while i said let me get my gun and shells....i grabbed a remington 12 magnum gun 1100...i grabbed a partial box of shells turns out half of them were 1 1/4 ounce loads the other were 1 ounce light loads...these shellscost me 2 squirls i should have had...i waswatching some pecan and black walnut tress a squirl cannot stay out of a pecan orchid...all told i only killed 2 but should have had 6....my grandson went slipping through the big timber got 6 so plus the 2 i had made a good mess for him and his sister who is a picky eater except when it comes to squirls and deer....this was my first hunt for squirls i think we are going to dove hunt saturday evening season comes back in that day...charlie

Rain should be done tomorrow and the temp is supposed to drop like a stone. I may do a little hunting.
