Grade 1 10ga
Hello everyone. My current collection of Parker's are D grade 12 ga. There are a couple of grade 1 10ga for sale in the area. They are hammer and have signs of use. Just wondering about the general desirability of these as collectables. They are listed for apx. $1000. I've usually look at D or better but wondering if diversifying is worth it given the price.

unless it is in high condition ( and that's not likely at $1000 ) -
sounds more like shooter than collector having said that - hammer tens a a lot of fun to shoot |

Why else would I have so many of the darn things :rotf:  |
I have a bunch of lower grade tens, hammer and hammerless and shoot them regularly. At the price most sell for, they are great buys.

I absolutely love my Grade 1 10 gauge with original 28” length barrels on a 2 frame. Just a shooter but brick solid. You’ve got to have one! One time mine found itself at the bottom of a shallow lake before daylight. Felt around in the mud, found it, shook the water out, and proceeded to have a great duck hunt. Try that with a higher grade high condition Parker!
