Cut barrel pics of my GH

Could this have contributed to my regulation issue?

I posted about it in this thread. http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=29392

They more I handle this shotgun and look at the (very undesirable) pattern impact, the more I am disappointed. I could really enjoy this gun if not for the poor of POI.

Thanks

Ryan

I hate to say it, but those look pretty butchered.

Ya, I can not believe I just noticed it. As I posted, I don't have much into it so its not the end of the world. I will say that I need to find another Damascus gun on a 1 frame. This one really grew on me.

I think that is certainly some of the problem.

Not only have the barrels been cut but the ribs appear to have been very poorly re-layed.

Your options are to find another gun, find another set of barrels or have the ribs relaid on yours.

Agree. There appears to be way more separation between the barrels than we typically see.

Yes. The muzzle has been spread apart. Not simply cut. Look at the gaps between the ribs and tubes.
That will certainly effect point of impact.

have csrewed in chokes put in the gun when relaying the ribs...this will straighen up the oblong bores you have now...or else take a piece of round stock steel that is just the size of the good barrel and hammer around the bad barrel with round stock steel in the bad barrel and hammer and work it gently and it will reround the barell....or have the barrel recut and then install the screw in chokes....charlie
