For stockwork Danny Patton usually fixes my problems . For rib work and damascus freshening Breck Gorman’s helped me out . If I need a gun tightened up , put back on face , barrels blued or some innards replaced Ned Purcell usually fixes it for me , Purcell’s Custom Firearms , 102 South Madison RD EXT , Orange VA 22960 (540)661-3392 . Oh yeah Danny Patton and Breck Gorman are in the Parker members registry I believe . If you can’t reach Patton you can always call the shop at Purcell’s and he can probably be rounded up .

That’s great to know about Purcell’s. Last I spoke to Danny, he was out of the stock repair business. Years ago, he repaired a Perazzi stock for me that had snapped literally in-half at the wrist as a result of a double discharge. It was ugly, real ugly. Danny’s repair work was noting short of miraculous. It was nearly impossible to see the repair. Fine gent to deal with as well.

Brad B.
Brad did a complete restoration on my 1885 Parker Hammer Gun before his untimely passing . The folks at his shop are top notch. Brad told me that his restoration made my gun a museum quality piece!
You can check out his artisan master work by searching my name on this site. Regards, Henry Verri |

I met Bill Schwarz of Ellijay, GA this past Tuesday. I took my grandfather's GH Hammerless side by side to him for assment of condition and to see if there was anything that needed fixing or tweaking. I found Bill to be friendly, and a very knowledgeable gunsmith.

On Oct 30, 2020 I left my Parker with Bill Schwarz for some minor work to be done and a complete dissassembly and cleaning. I got a call from Bill Monday July 6th letting me know the gun was ready for pickup. Since I am about 8 hours away, and I had a friend working in his area this week, my friend volunteered to pick it up for me. My friend reported to me that the gun looks and feels fantastic. Unfortunitely my friend won't be back home with the gun until the end of next week. Can't wait to get it back.
