Fiber Wads

Anyone using fiber wads for smokeless loads? I've never had any luck finding modern data.

Try checking out Ballistic Products web site. One of their technical brochures deals with loading card wads and smokeless powders. Their brochures were $1.99 last time I checked, and they must have a couple dozen different ones of various topics (loading short hulls, card wads, roll crimping etc...). Get a few different ones and have them throw them in the mail for you. Well worth the few dollars. Good luck.

I just went up 10% more powder. In the old reloading manuals they used to recommend 10% less powder when going to the NEW plastic wads. All my loads are on the low end for pressure, so 10% more was still in limits even if it did go up some. They seem to shoot just fine. Paul
