For Your Consideration
 

First, the deadline for submission of material for the Fall Issue of Parker Pages is July 15. We are hoping to receive more technical articles for the upcoming issues as there are none in our 'library' to date. And then the Winter Issue looms on the not-so-distant horizon.

Second, we have received a few donations of some terrific items for the Annual Silent Auction to be held in South Carolina at the Annual Meeting. At this point, we can really use quite a few more. The items we have received are exceptionally nice and we appreciate the generosity of those who have made donations. Keep them coming please.

Third, please give some thought as to who you think is deserving of this year's Distinguished Service Award. We have only four nominations so far and each of these have only one vote. Surely someone (or even a few people) stand out as deserving of this special recognition by the membership at the banquet. Go to the home page and click on the Awards button and make your nominations there. You can also PM Robin Lewis or Chris Lien and give them the name and reasons you think that person(s) should receive the Distinguished Service Award.

We do not have a slate of nominees... It is up to the membership to make the nominations via the Awards & Recognitions link from the home page or by contacting Robin or Chris.
