Mark, thanks for being on the ball with your post - I'm a little slow this year. It looks like our Pigeon Ring will be running. Dave Daroo, one of our shotgunners, made it - I just painted it and put it togeather. I think we'll put it on a trap field we don't use- that way it won't interfere with 5-stand. That or the first skeet field. My concern is shot fall. I don't want to shut down SC's or any other game if at all posible. Hope to see everyone again and maybe some new faces. Invites were sent out last Monday so if you don't get one or newbees want one email me. Paul

Well, we've been testing the Pigeon machine - believe all the problems have been fixed. A couple of the guys really like it - others hate it [scores]. Gonna bring back some hand machines this year - the squirrel, nesting pair, and the woodcock 60's. Also have a teal and a high crosser. We'll have SC's, skeet, trap, wobble trap, 5-stand, 30 bird flurry, and the Pigeon ring. Should be fun. Come early and bring plenty of ammo. Paul

The Pigeon Ring at Lapeer Michigan Sportmans Club is in operation!!! This is thanks to Paul Harm and other club members. Today we shot the ring, or should I say the rotating trap where the ring will be and it is not easy! The trap is hidden behind a wood barrier so this is different than the rings at the Upper Peninsula match where they are under ground level. One step at a time…

There are a couple empty spaces. Where were you guys? :) http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p...1/DSC_0027.jpg |
Maybe a couple of Michigan Parker boys will stop out early on a Tuesday or Sunday for a little pratice.

Hope the weather breaks- I'm gonna be setting SC's in the snow.
