1866 Parker

How many 1866 models do we know of that survived.
I have one- it’s been buried for years.
Have to dig it up and check the s/n.
Value?

Are we talking about a miller patent “T-Latch” lifter? Also known as the “Meriden Manufacturing, made for Chas. Parker” guns.

Old Parker

Morning, Brian.
Yes.
I found it 35 or so years ago and I think Charlie Price said that there were only 22 or 23 known to exist at that time.

There were more than that made for sure. But still not a lot. They were only made for just over 2 years. They are pretty much considered to be “relics” these days with many of them being in rougher condition. Seen as good items for a collector wanting to have a representative collection of the different models made.
I have seen them sell for a little as $300. The last one I sold was in fair conditon and I sold it for $800 or 900 if I recall correctly. I would personally say that $2,000-2500 may be the realistic ceiling for nicer ones. But cannot say for sure.
