I could be wrong but it looks like a grade 3 to me. I would ask for more pics especially the water tables and the barrel flats. You might also inquire as to the bore condition. Looks like they gave you just enough information to get your interest but not enough to make a decision. By the way most of the 10ga I have seen had 14" lengths of pull.

That gun has been on Gunbroker for a while. It is a grade 3 not a 4. And some glaring things not right about it.

I didn't want to be to critical.

I've looked at it several times . I'm sure it has issues I've not noticed but I never could get by the butt of the stock .

Look at the hammers.

I see that gun as having potential if the barrels are in good shape and it is mechanically sound. IE adequate wall thickness.
Wood can be changed/ altered/ etc. Grade 3 hammer guns are getting harder and harder to find. IMO any in this price range and under should be strongly considered if you feel confident in the barrels and you can correct the wood issues, etc. Yeah its no collector gun but could be one hell of a shooter/ hunting piece. |
John, you are right grade 3 hammer guns are hard to find especially in good shape
