A Parker Reproduction Oil Can, like this one, but without its original box recently sold on eBay; after some spirited bidding it went for $255.00 plus state sales tax and shipping.

I have been very active in the PR for several years. I always felt they were undervalued for the longest time. Well, it's been 50 plus years since Tom Skuse introduced them plus the fact, they were a high-grade well-made gun produced in very limited numbers. I am happy to see them gain value and claim a there rightful place in the realm gun and sport from days past. I bought my first PR in 1995 to use and enjoy. It's been a long enjoyable journey for me. I have learned much along the way. I use my guns no matter what they cost or their dollar value. I use them in the rain, snow, mud and Poppel. I just got a new Gordon setter pup and my journey will continue be the Lord willing. SXS Ohio

That is Parker Hale not to be confused with Parker Brothers. They were an English firearms maker.

Thank you for your astute observation, Frank. But, I don't believe anybody here should be confusing Parker-Hale with Parker Bros.

Parker-Hale of Birmingham, England was the supplier to Parker Reproductions for both the originally supplied oil cans and snap caps.
