Busmith through a Superpose?

Thoughts on shooting bismuth through a 20 ga Superpose choked IC/Mod?

Eric Eis 03-01-2020 04:13 PM

No problem Jay.

I've shot it through my 20 ga. Red Label. Better than steel in my opinion.

If I still had my 20-bore Superposed, I'd need a real serious reason to shoot anything but lead shot through it. Just me...

Sorry John I don't understand, Bismith is as soft as lead and has the killing power of lead and yes it's three times more expensive but for a hunt that was a nontox shot only hunt why not?

I have three 20-gauge Superposeds and I wouldn't hesitate to use bismuth.

As I said. It's "just me."

It's your gun, your pocketbook. And your hunt. Be environmentally responsible and enjoy!

FWIW: I just called Art's and was told "no problem." The question why would I do that? I wouldn't mind using it to jump shoot ducks this fall. I only wish I could shoot my Parkers as well as I shoot my Super.
