Limited edition Mr. Buck (Otherwise known as Deans continued corruption of my reading
1 Attachment(s)
I have enjoyed reading the Rutledge collections and the leather bound Dairydale press Buckingham books. However after buying 4 of the books in that collection I have hit a rough patch in hunting down the rest of them, so thanks to Dean's repeated praise of this book I have acquired this and am looking forward to reading it.

You should enjoy it. It's not so much about hunting as his efforts in conservation
But give a lot of insight into the man |
I know you'll enjoy reading the history of such a dedicated sportsman.

It isn't as entertaining as his other writings, but, if you are a Buckingham fan, it belongs in your library.

Bill Holcomb, have you been buying the original Derrydales or the reprints done in the 90's? and 00's?
The originals are hard to find in high condition - and are expensive - while the reprints are much easier to find and are about 1/10 the price of an original. . |
That is a good book. I have the trade edition

Some of the pictures in the Putnam and later reprinted editions are different than the original Derrydales. From the Putnam Edition of Ole Miss' --

Leather bound versions running $35-50 bucks depending on the volume. I believe them to all be reprints, but my copy of Ole Miss I believe is blue leather bound instead of red. |
