Parker ash tray

I purchased 2 Parker Gun ash trays over 30 years ago at an auction. Any idea what they are worth?

Here are a couple of photos. Both ash trays are signed on the back.

What are they made of?

They appear to be made out of pewter or something very similar to pewter.

The signature looks like Walt Massi or something close to it

The odds are that those ashtrays were not produced by Parker Bros. The quality is not there.

The photos do not do justice to the ash treys. I used my cell phone to take the photo. They are actually very good quality with great relief. It is designed with the melt marks. I would need better lighting and a better camera to show the quality.

Jon,

Sorry but Bill Z. is correct. Parker Brother products were production in quantity and of high quality. Further, Parker did not even allow their engraves to sign A Grade guns which they turned into works of art.

Your ashtrays are nice examples of an individual artist's devotion to Parker guns.

Respectfully,
Mark
