Posted for another collector.. I tried to get rid of the "noise" in the background, so please excuse some pixelation in in the non-gun areas of the pics..
Best to all! John |

Wonderfull...a very lucky owner indeed.

I am typing the first thought that came to mind , UNBELIEVABLE !
|
You could look at that gun all day and still not see it all.......a real beauty. I had the pleasure one time of handling an A1, I felt like that guy in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" or something, when he discovers the treasure.
|
Stunning is the word.
|
I thought Dunkle was going to tell us more about this gun, like the serial number.
|
I thought Murphy was going to post some pictures of his guns - with serial numbers?
Now who looks silly? "Dunkle" |
Lets not start the serial number stuff again ! Thats a gun !
|
OK, how about the gauge?

That gun looks familiar to me. I mght have seen it at the Southern last year. A friend who is a dealer bought an A1 then resold it. The engraveing is very familiar looking. If its the same gun then its a 12ga.
|
WOW!!!
Dennis |
If I am not mistaken, that A1 S was sold at Julia's fall 2012 auction. It was previously owned by a good friend of BD and is a 20ga.

Regardless of what gauge it is, I won't be asking any more uncalled for questions. I guess I'll just stay home and enjoy my own guns.

20ga, 32". Huey case. Nice wood. I posted photos and SN here a couple years ago.
|
John D. , is this an original A-1 or DelGrego upgrade? I assume it's an original but thought I'd ask anyway. No offense please. The gun is "stunning".
|
Factory original Allen.
