Parker SxS DH3 Grade 3 Trap Gun?

Good afternoon all,

I recently acquired this beautiful parker SxS and I was looking for any information on it and an approximate value.

it looks to be a DH grade 3 parker, but i have not seen one with the wide "trap style" forend and raised vent rib. it is equipped with ejectors, and the right barrel is full, the left is mod choked. it also has a single trigger, and has a slight cast for a left hand shooter.

I would love to get any info on this interesting parker, and if anyone has seen one specialized seemingly for a left handed clay shooter.

thanks all! :)

Post a picture of the flats of the action with the gun disassembled. It may tell us more. A picture of the flats of the breech end of the barrels would help also. What a great gun.

It appears to have started life as a regular 32" DHE and then it made multiple trips to Remington and came out a vent rib trap gun with beavertail and monte carlo stock. Nice looking gun. You should get a letter on it.

The MC stock likely not original but it is a beautiful example. Agree that it has been upgraded by Remington. What is the total weight of the gun? I bet it has minimal recoil with the #2 frame.

That frame is a flat topped version so it was originally a VR gun. It is restocked and re-colored. By the look of the colors and the comb, possibly delgrego.

Looks like a grade 4 stock

Lovely gun. Definitely should get a letter.

I assume it’s a 32” gun , has the draw bolt in the front of the forend and the reinforced forend lug ? Also that the trigger isn’t a Miller ?

Those barrel flats are very interesting. It has all the usual late Remington era stampings -- PARKER GUN WORKS OVERLOAD PROVED -- the serial number -- MADE IN U.S.A. -- IMP MOD & FULL choke markings -- three Remington repair codes LK3 (L = Feb K = 1941) PSS3 (P = Jun SS = 1947) DSS3 (D = Sep SS = 1947) -- the sun and large N Remington inspector's stamps. The flats also show the stamps that would have been normal when 213539 was made in 1925, the J.G in an oval, T in a circle and HT over A. "Normal" 1925 vintage barrel flats --
