Columbus, O., June 24.—The twelfth annual Grand American Shooting Handicap on the grounds of the Columbus Gun Club.

Harvey Dixon (Smith), amateur of Oronogo, Mo., won the Grand American Handicap on the third day with a score of 99 from 20 yards.

High professionals for the day were W. R. Crosby (Parker) and C. G. Spencer (also from MO), from 22 yards, and C. E. Goodrich and H. H. Stevens, from 18 yards, 96 each; L. S. German, 22 yards; H. D. Freeman and W. Henderson (Parker), 21 yards; R. O. Heikes, 20 yards, and Neaf Apgar (Smith), 19 yards, 95 each, were in second place; Fred Gilbert (Parker), 22 yards; J. R. Taylor (Winchester 1897), 21 yards; R. W. Clancy, 20 yards and H. Q. Kirkwood, 19 yards, 94 each.

The National Professional championship at 200 singles fell to Lester S. German, of Aberdeen, Md., who powdered 198 out of 200. Second was R. O. Heikes, score, 196, with Remington-U. M. C. Auto gun and shells. W. H. Heer was tied for third with Geo. W. Maxwell, score, 195, both shooting Remington-U. M. C. pump guns and shells.

German also won the Professional doubles title with 89x100.
