12ga 2.5" 1 1/8oz load fiber wads

I'd like some recipes for this. For a nitro proved 2/5" 12. I see plastic wad data, but would like some with stacked fiber wads.

I load with little else because a lot of clay grounds in England, and game shoots, insist on bio-degradeable wads. Most of my loading is with components easily sounced in the U.K. but I do have some information for Hercules/Alliant powders and CCI & Winchester primers. Most loads just require a slight powder increase with the use of fibre wads; usually 1 to 1 1/2 grains extra. If you use the same load and just substitute a card and fibre wad you will certainly be on the safe side. Try that then just increase the powder load by 1/2 grain increments but do not exceed 1 1/2 grains over standard. Lagopus.....

I've loaded many 2.5" shells. Just use the data for 2.75" shells and sub in the fiber wads. As Matt said, pressure will go down a bit. Years ago when load data was for fiber wads it was suggested to go down 10% if subbing in the new plastic wads. I bump it up a grain and have never had a problem. About 95% of my guns are Damascus barreled SxSs.

Thank you for your help.

Randy, if your 2.5" shells get ragged, trim them to 2.25 or even 2". Looking at Federals ad for 1.75 " shells I had to make a couple. They were using 15/16oz of shot. It sure didn't leave much room for any kind of cushion wad and I was roll crimping.
