Lost forearm
My father in law has lost his forearm on Parker reproduction by Winchester, 20 gauge. Any suggestions on where we could find a replacement.
Thanks Alan |
Alan,
Sorry to hear of the lost part! Replacement will be difficult. OEM parts are not available and these guns are generally too new to have reached condition that would warrant parting out. Ebay and other similar sites may eventually work. Of course posting WTB on this site is available for PGCA Members only. Bob Jurewicz |
Thank you for your reply

Brian Dudley has recently come across a bunch of Repro parts. Don't know if he has any forearms. Splinter or BT?
|
Alan - I am looking for a BTFE for my 20 Ga. Repro. If I find one, perhaps we could make a deal on my Splinter. Billy

yes i would be interested.
thank you |
I recently inquired with Brian if he had any PR forearm iron wirh his recent purchase of PR parts. No such luck. No iron.
|
Somebody may correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know, an original Parker ejector forend iron will work with a Repro - same dimensions and all in the 0-frame size.

I would expect it to take some fitting as many do anyway

Right Rick. A Repro forend iron from any other 0-frame Repro would work with no fitting at all, except for maybe some very fine filing.
