Shotgun Value
I just pickup a parker bros. shotgun, now i wondering what the value of it is.
the serial #73912 with a 2 above it and a G below and has a 30" barrel. Also i have attached some pictures Thank You Leroy |
I would say it is worth what you just paid for it.

Hi Leroy, your pictures didnt come thru, so we cant see the gun. It appears you have a GH, or GHE, if it has ejectors---a grade 2 Parker. You did list the ser#, so maybe someone will look it up and give us some more info. With that low a serial #, I would imagine the barrels are damascus, on the top rib, it will state the type of steel used. On the bottom of the barrel lug should be a number stamped-- a 1, 1 1/2, or 2--that is the frame size--the higher the number the heavier the frame.
All these factors, and of course the condition of the gun are important in determining gun value. Hopefully you can put some pictures up and we can tell you more. |
