two barrel sites
From watching the internet gun sale sites and the guns for sale on this site, It appears to me that most two barrel sets were in D grade or higher and were 12 ga. This makes since to me, because most Parkers were 12's and the hunters purchasing the higher grade guns were the ones that could afford the two barrel sets. Have noticed several 20 ga. sets but can recall very few in 16 ga. Are there many 16 ga. sets out there ?

I wouldn't paint the topic with such a broad brush.

I have a three barrel 16 gauge GHE. 24", 28", and 30". The original 26" barrels are missing.

I have a GHE 16 skeet/trap set an AHE 20/28 set and have sold more than one 20ga two bbl set.

One of the first Parker's I owned was a Trojan 16 two barrel set. Traded away long ago for another Parker I "needed". Wish I still owned it!

I have never found the added value in the second set of barrels and I have several two barrel sets:eek: The GHE 16 has never had the trap barrels on it and I've owned it for close to 15 years.

I have a VH two barrel set. The 26" barrels have .015 & .025 constriction and makes the gun very handy for sporting clays and most bird hunting. The 30" barrels have .030 & .042 constriction. The long barrels win money shooting wobble and double trap.

One year I bought all the 16's Ivory Beads brought to Vegas. Talk about getting bitten. It was a very expensive couple of days. Should have stuck to the hookers and blow.
