Tungsten matrix for duck/geese

A while back there was mention of a kent tungsten matrix that was friendly to older guns regarding the charge and the hammering on the gun. They currently offer some loads for waterfowl at 1 3/8oz and 1 1/4oz in 2 3/4" hull. I have a 30" 12gauge G grade choked IM/IM on a heavy # 2 frame. I am thinking the gun can handle it and but was wondering if others are shooting these loads through their Parkers. I do have some ITX loads and some nice shot in low pressures but wanted to try the TM given the reviews.
I also have the new Rio bismuth ammo that I haven't shot yet and was wondering if anyone shot that through their heavier framed older guns since it came out. I plan to shoot it in my repro.

I've been shooting Kent TM at waterfowl for years, it's murder......

I wouldn't shoot it in a light gun for sure, the loads are heavy. But in a heavy frame gun with a good thick grip on the stock I'd say you're fine.

Destry is correct. The KTM is the best of the non tox in my opinion and works well on waterfowl. The loads are heavy and not for lightweight wispy guns. The ones I've used are equivalent to the old 3-3/4dram, 1-1/4oz lead loads and feel pretty stout. I only use them in my 2-frame guns.

I use Nice Shot in my Damascus/Twist guns and Kent TM in regular steel guns. I won't use anything else.

Thanks - I'm convinced

Problem with Nice Shot is that I don't think you can even get it anymore can you? A friend told me the RST boys had been on back order for it for ages.

I've had good luck with the Classic Doubles non tox also. Seems to kill just fine. You rarely see it up here though.

Destry, that is a problem, although I bought some 12 gauge Nice Shot recently and it was in stock. It was in and out of stock this past season

Had some #3 shot TM loads delivered the other day. Waiting on other sizes.
