Very nice, high quality original condition action. Mid to late 20's?
Look at that collar around the barrel bolsters, the feathers on the birds, the shading patches on the dogs. All that typically gets worn off by a lot of hand carrying if a person carries the gun with his hands wrapped around the frame, or by buffing in preparation to re case coloring if the gun has been redone. The case colors are worn off, but to me they are only one component of "condition", and while I like the subtlety of original Parker case colors, I don't at all mind a silver frame. Nice action. |
Bruce,
1928, numbers all match, this set of pics show engraving clear (I think) |
