5 Star Sporting Clays Shooting Facility

Have been spending some quality time at the 2024 Western Regional
Sporting Clays Champion Shoot at the ''Ben Avery'' 5-Star Shooting Facility.
It covers 1,650 Acres.''WOW''. All the Shooting Positions are ''Outstanding''.
No shortage of ammo, $120 per case (Win A-A's & Game Bore) I Seen at lease
3,000 Cases of Ammo in one building. You can rent a shotgun for $15 per day.

Shooting Prices are as Follows
Trap & Skeet $7 - 25 clays
Sporting Clays $10 - 25 clays
$20 - 50 clays
$35 - 100 clays
Bunker Trap - $8 - 25 clays
5 Stand - $7.50 - 25 clays
Push gun cart rental - $4.00 a day

And For Bill Murphy, a Johnny on the spot at every station.

Need a ''Golf Cart'', no problem they had at least 75 setting their , just
waiting for you. NOW For the best part , Camping on site, Bars & Restaurant
and Lodging's all with in 15 minute drive. And no parking problems, and all
Super Paved Roads. (No Dust) Oh, did I mention a Huge # of Shooters,
and it looked like ''Little Waiting''

I've shot there many times. I agree on all points!

It's the second best shooting facility in Arizona, the other is Tucson Trap and Sheet. Arizona was my shooting home for over 30 years and I still travel and spend lots of time in Arizona. Another great facility is Rio Salado Sportsman Club in Mesa, Arizona. When COVID hit the state government closed/limited access to both Ben Avery and Rio Salado and it's taken almost two years for the clubs to recover.
Miss the clubs not the state politics. Good shooting!!!

That sounds like a fun place to spend a couple late January/early February days shooting targets mixed in with some days quail hunting over the dogs. Just sayin...

I spend parts of December and January shooting at Ben Avery, Rio Salado and Tucson Trap and Skeet with multiple days hunting quail across the state. However last two years quail hunting has been extremely poor.
Hoping 24-25 will be back to normal, three quail species, good dogs and great weather is hard to beat.
