DILLON SL-900 RELOADER

I have been thinking of a new progressive loader. I am somewhat interested in the Dillon SL-900 but have read conflicting reviews on the loader. Does anyone have one and If so, what do you think of it?:corn:

Have you considered a Ponsness/Warren?

I have two PW presses, they are very high quality and produce excellent ammo.

A buddy has a Dillion , he’s happy with it !

I don’t know anything about the Dillon but like already said PW makes quality products having owned many of them over the years .

Yes Dean but without getting into particulars their are several reasons that I do not care for those loaders.

I have a 900sl and have loaded 100000 reloads thru it. Overall I like it. Its like anything mechanical, there can be challenges

Jim, you are right. I have loaded with Sizemasters for years with no issues. I may look at the 9000E with automate. From the uTube videos I have watched it looks like a very smooth progressive.

Don't buy any loader unless it comes with ten year's supply of components. Best deal on a loader is from an estate sale where there are plenty of components included. Old guys usually have lots of components. Watch the obituaries.

I do not know about the Dillion, but a friend has a Spolar and it is quite a machine and I would definitely buy one if I shot as much as he and his wife, ATA 25-30k, per year.
