Screw slot size ?

Hi
I am going to order a slotting file or saw blade, haven't decided wich. Could some one tell me what size slot I'm shooting for ?
I can't measure one of mine because every gun I have has wrecked screws.
I'm guessing trigger plate screws and the top screw have different widths so I'm looking for both sizes.
Thank you, Tom

I have a hosford screw slotting jig and their saw set. I normally use their largest slotting saw blade which is .025".
That would correspond with any of the Brownells magnatip bits ending in (-2).

I have found that factory Parker screw slots are actually a little larger than this. Maybe .030-.035". I usually find that the (-3) brownells bits work on original slots.

I hope this info is of some help.
