Stock care

I am new here. I need some suggestions on what to use on my stock and forend I my Parker VH 16 gauge. It is in good shape and I want to keep it that way. Thanks in advance for your input.

Timberlux is a great product that you can use to revitalize your stock or to use as a finish coat on a refinish job.

Brian just posted my Citori Skeet gun that I re-did with Timberluxe. It was grimy, black in the checkering and worn blonde elsewhere. I stripped it and used his walnut stain and timberluxe. EASY, for me, and I'm not great at this type of thing. That teeny $12 bottle will probably do at least two guns. I am totally sold on it.

Thanks for the info everyone. I will order a bottle

The only downside I can really see is that after it's open a while it becomes thick and viscous and the shelf life is rather short. I'm not sure if you can thin it. Others will know. My bottle has been open a month, it's half full, but noticeably thicker.

If it is in fine condition, then leave it be.

I spray a little blast off in the bottle to displace any oxygen before putting the cap on. It last for months this way.

Never heard of it thank you

It compressed inert gas in a can. Sold for dusting off key boards and electronics. Be careful too big a blast and you will refinish the bench!
