A beautiful Grade 2
10GA Made in 1889 I am sure the pictures don't do it justice |
Wont be your last

Problem with damascus is they make every fluid steel barrel look like every other barrel.
|
10's are big fun, great gun congrats.
|
Enjoy!
|
You’ll have fun with that one!
. |
What is the name of that pattern on the barrels?
|
Drew Hause calls it 3-iron crolle star Damascus.
. |
Thank you, i have a 10 with that pattern under a cold blue that i have been thinking of having redone.

What Dean said. This is another Grade 2 10g refinished by Brad Bachelder
http://pic20.picturetrail.com:80/VOL.../412474577.jpg Esp. at the breech of Jeff's barrels (ground less thin) there are very prominent black & white "stars" which makes this pattern particularly attractive to my eye 12g refinished by Dale Edmonds. Easy to see 2 wavy 'zipper' welds between the straight ribband edge welds = 3 iron http://pic20.picturetrail.com:80/VOL.../268602469.jpg |
