George M. Purtill 02-08-2018 08:11 PM

Addieville in March

I’m longing to shoot something- anything.
Is there any interest in meeting in RI to break some birds?
Of course it’s primarily a New England event but anyone can come. However, I don’t want to impinge on Mr. Suponski’s tune up shoot.
What say you?

Jim DiSpagno 02-08-2018 08:42 PM

George, if you’re looking for something to shoot, anything then Southern Csl is a target rich environment. LOL

Dean Romig 02-08-2018 09:11 PM

I'm in.

BTW Jim, what is Csl ?

Larry Frey 02-08-2018 10:16 PM

I would attend as well.

Jim DiSpagno 02-08-2018 10:34 PM

California

edgarspencer 02-09-2018 01:44 AM

Yes, but don't make it St. Patricks weekend as that is the Baltimore show weekend.

allen newell 02-09-2018 07:47 AM

George, I'm in if you schedule it before March 16 or after the 24th.

allan.mclane 02-24-2018 11:25 PM

I'll try to get there if you do it in March.

allen newell 02-25-2018 06:57 PM

George, what's the plan?

George M. Purtill 02-26-2018 01:00 PM

The best days for me are the 17/18 or 24/25. Those are Saturday/Sundays.
I would say we pick a Saturday and have the Sunday as a backup.

Dean Romig 02-26-2018 01:53 PM

That works for me. You guys pick a Saturday - I'm flexible.

I apologize to all for not responding quicker but I am not getting emails that people are posting to threads I have subscribed to. I guess JD hates me.
So... how about the 24th?

Dean Romig 03-02-2018 10:23 AM

George, why aren't you shown as a Life Member below your name????

.

allan.mclane 03-02-2018 11:06 AM

You guys have fun. Sorry to miss this but I'm going to be in South Carolina pursuing the wild turkey.

edgarspencer 03-02-2018 12:55 PM

the 24th will work for me.

Dean Romig 03-02-2018 12:58 PM

I'm in for the 24th.

Robin Lewis 03-02-2018 02:20 PM

10 minutes before I get there, if all goes according to plan.

Larry Frey 03-02-2018 03:29 PM

The 24th should be good for me as well.

scott kittredge 03-02-2018 04:37 PM

i will be shooting crows I hope?? see you next shoot

allen newell 03-02-2018 06:10 PM

Don't get back from Costa Rica until 3/25 so the 24th won't work for me but it looks good for most everyone else so I wouldn't change the date. I'll try to catch the next one

Frank Cronin 03-02-2018 10:50 PM

Sounds good to me.

Stephen Hodges 03-04-2018 05:05 PM

I will come "down" with as many of the "New Hampshire Boys" that I can get to come. :)

Stephen Hodges 03-04-2018 06:20 PM

So far we have Bud, Bill and myself, and we will work on Bobby Fabian..............as Scott will be shooting crows.............

Jay Oliver 03-04-2018 08:38 PM

I'll have to wait until the April shoot as I have a work event that day. I would really rather be at Addieville than work...have fun!

Russell E. Cleary 03-04-2018 11:14 PM

The silver lining if I get laid off or fired is that I would be able be there. But, as of now I am scheduled to be at work. So, as Sam Goldwin used to say, “you can include me out”.
REC

allen newell 03-13-2018 09:11 AM

I'll wait for the April shoot and hopefully I won't have to work that day at Redtop. If the stripers show up early in the Canal, I know we'll be busy.

Frank Cronin 03-13-2018 11:43 AM

What happened with your trip to Costa Rica Allen?

allen newell 03-13-2018 01:25 PM

Hi Frank, we leave this friday for costa rica. Be back on the 25 th

Frank Cronin 03-19-2018 06:42 PM

What time is this supposed to start?????

Dean Romig 03-19-2018 07:41 PM

Shooting always begins at 9 a.m. at Addieville.

.

George M. Purtill 03-20-2018 10:18 AM

Sorry for the late reply. I am not getting consistently the email notifications.
I have a call in to Jack to confirm conditions and start times but we usually start at 9 with a safety talk at 845.
We pay when we are done shooting.

George M. Purtill 03-20-2018 02:41 PM

No answer on phone, left two messages- still waiting for a reply.
As soon as I hear I will post.

George M. Purtill 03-21-2018 10:18 AM

I am a dope- they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
I just chatted with them.
They expect to be cleared out from our snowfall so we can shoot Saturday.
I told them we would be there at 8:30 so Jack can give us the safety talk at 8:45 and we can get off shooting at 9:00.
If we have at least 12 we will get the member rates.
Watch the weather.
Maybe our RI members can give us the best heads up.

Dean Romig 03-21-2018 07:39 PM

I'll have to back out guys, with apologies.

My daughter's stove gave up the ghost yesterday and we bought her a new one today...
I'll be installing it on Saturday morning. It shouldn't take long to connect the gas line, check for leaks and level the stove but it will take just long enough to keep me from going to Addieville.

.

Stephen Hodges 03-22-2018 06:41 PM

Ok guys. We will have four from NH. We will arrive about 9:30 AM., Steve

George M. Purtill 03-23-2018 08:07 AM

Thanks Steve
Who else is coming?

Stephen Hodges 03-23-2018 08:43 AM

Myself, Bill Janell, my friend Bud Salmon and Bob Fabian
