I have a 28-ga. Q1/Q2 that measures .004/.008 of constriction, my 20-ga. Q1/Q2 mikes .004/.007.

My 20 is 003/ 007.

Thanks guys, that is about what I thought they might be. My 20 that is my go to grouse gun was IC/Mod and I found they patterned way too tight. I had the chokes opened to .004/.008 and I find it ideal for my needs. I shoot it on clays to practice for the hunting season and it does a surprisingly good job on targets out to 35 yards.

Are these for sale?

Thanks! Still beautiful guns...

I have owned probably 50 Parker Reproduction guns and I've never owned or even seen a 28" set of barrels with Q1 & Q2 chokes. I would love to have a 28GA with 28" barrels and Q1 & Q2 chokes. I have what I consider the most difficult to find configuration which is 28GA, double trigger, beavertail, straight grip, Q1 & Q2 chokes. At least I thought it was the most difficult until you threw in the 28" barrels. Now I have something else to look for!

Through the years I've come across several 20-ga. and 16-ga. Repros with 28" barrels factory choked Q1/Q2, but I still consider them a rare find. However, the 28-ga. guns with 28" barrels factory choked Q1/Q2 are in a different league, extremely rare and a real treasure -- the equivalent of finding a needle in a very big haystack. It may be an even taller order to find a 12-ga. 28" Repro factory choked Q1/Q2. Anyone here have one?

I have a 26" 12-ga choked Q1 and Q2 and it is a fabulous upland gun. I patterned it when I got it and was amazed how uniform the patterns were at ten and twenty-five yards. It is the only gun where I had a double on quail on one shot.

I still own that pair of 28ga 28" Q1/Q2 Repros I purchased in Dec 2014. To think I almost passed on them. Purchasing the pair was a financial stretch at the time.

Gerry, I still have the Steel Shot Special I bought from you back in Jan 2012.

Very happy with all of them.
