PR Sporting Clays Classic

This limited production Repro is said to have had only 125 guns produced.
I had wondered if they were all in one batch or were they spread out?
The one that just sold on GB was 12-01386. I own 12-01379 just 7 guns away.
Now conventional wisdom from our own John Allen says the Repros were in batches of 25.
I have seen SCC 12-01502 as it is my son's gun that he shot at Clemson (with orange extended screw in chokes-pretty wild). That is a spread of 123 in what I have observed.
Would any of you SCC owners be kind enough to post your serial numbers or email me at george.m.purtill@snet.net .
Thanks

Orange screw in chokes:eek: That would be wild looking for sure.

The SCC that I recently sold was numbered - 01515

From what I've observed all 125 appear to have been produced in a single run -- if we can assume that they were serialized as they were built. I have SCC 12-1548 and 12-1549.

Yours George at 1379 and the GB 1386 throws my theory of all 125 being built in a single run out the window.

OR Greg
Perhaps there were MORE than 125. Let’s see what numbers get posted.
Victor???

Greg Baehman 09-13-2018 08:08 PM

Or George, another possibility is that they may not have been numbered chronologically.

My SCC is 12-01394

no help here, George..I don't have a SCC.

I do have a standard 12g that's configured identical to a another I'm aware of that's 4 s/n's away from it. (pg,bt,sst). Now of course that doesn't show much of anything but I wouldn't be surprised to learn that 'lots' of 25, in some cases, were produced with the same configuration but who really knows?? It doesn't seem logical the factory would stray from a sequential/chronological numbering scheme but there again, who really knows?

I’m 12-01521.
