I am curious of any opinions on this engraving on this Damascus PHE. #64830

The frame engraving is Parker. I think the barrels were engraved by the Aztecs.

:rolleyes:Someone had taken some time to do this.. Is there anything in the book with the serial number? Dave, I have to watch out if I compliment you...

Plain Twist ,12 gauge, 30" barrels, capped pistol grip, extractors.

Ya Bill..Watch it JB is lurking in the shadows.....

I've shot with the Aztecs at Pintail Point and they are not going to take this lightly. They take great pride in their engraving program for the challenged. The two arrow heads on either side are found on the earlier Fox Sterlingworths. Maybe a connection here. You really make me laugh OP.

B.S. aside, do you know anything about the engraving?
Thanks:corn:

Those are damascus all right. Maybe sent back to be rebarreled? A letter might help with this mystery.

After examining the "pineapple" motif I'm more inclined to think the barrels were engraved by Hawaiians.

Thanks Dave, I just picked this gun up. It was calling my name for awhile.. I honor your opinion. It was a good price. This gun has ejectors. 1 fram.. 1891.. Thank you, I am going to order a letter.. Crazy engraving!
