gun insurance

There was some previous discussion on companies that have much cheaper gun insurance than homeowners insurance. I would appreciate any ideas or suggestions.Thank you.

Use the search tool and in the text box enter

eastern insurance

and it should display several threads about gun insurance from past discussions.

The best insurance I have found is Collectibles Insurance from Hartford, CT.
The rates are great and they pay claims immediately and fairly.

Larry I am in the Hartford area and have never heard of them. Google sends me towards the Hartford Insurance group. Can you give more specifics? Thanks.

A friend recommended them and I applied for insurance on two guns I'm taking to Africa the end of the month. One of their questions was if I had had any home owners insurance claims. I told them about our recent garage fire and they asked a few more questions and then sent me a refusal. Guess I'm not what they want for a client.

Right now I'm waiting for an appraisal and then will most likely go with a home owners insurance rider. My agent said they would be covered anywhere in the world, that's good enough for me.

Eastern Insurance runs me a little over $300 a year for $100,000. Good people an provided a discount because I belong to PGCA.
