The few Parker Bros. posters/calendars are very rare and expensive. IMHO they are not nearly as good wall art as many of the posters/calendars from the large arms, ammunition and powder companies.

Keep an eye on the Ward's Auctions --

Wood duck Parker calendar, $2100. It will be a while before you see another one, especially at that price.

I guess a reprint will be fine : ) But I have a Tarnation print on the way and if my wife doesn't behave it will go smack dab in the middle of the family room.

I think a good inexpensive way to add some sporting art to your gun room is framing some period Outdoor Life or Field and Stream magazine covers. Frames pre-made are available from the hobby and craft stores for a nominal cost, the magazines are available on e-bay. Some of the best sporting artists of the period did magazine cover paintings. Here is picture of one I did that is hung next to the original work.

Craig, who is the artist?

Left Fred Everett, right LB Hunt. Here are few more of Everett's covers. He was from Binghamton NY and at one time the Commissioner of Fish and Game in the State of PA.

Hey, I'm from Binghamton, I never knew that. We also have Cole Johnson who is in Deposit. I wish I had purchased his stuff 30 years ago when it was so affordable (original work, not prints of it). I'm going to look into some old magazine covers, that's a great idea.
