Hello from Illinois. I came across this Parker and I'm having trouble nailing down exactly what it is. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

From the serial number the serialization book says it is a top action 12 ga hammer gun made in 1883 with 32" plain twist barrels on a #2 frame. Looks to be a grade 0, Parker's lowest "field" grade gun. Can't tell from the pictures, but it looks to be in good shape. I have 32888, a close relative of this one.

Thanks! Ballpark figure of a value?

I am not experienced enough to say, and those on here that are would likely want to see more pictures. Much depends on the condition of the barrels. It is difficult to estimate without the gun in hand. Nice gun though. Best of luck with it.

No worries...thanks much.

I have a 0 grade 12 ga hammer gun in shootable condition.
Looks similar to yours. I paid 500 at a festival / flea market.
I think i got a good deal but I'm not an expert.

The 32" bbls are a plus but more pics would help with the estimate

Are the bbls. original to the gun?

Why wouldn't they be? They certainly look like they are.

he may be asking because the serial number shows on the water table

while the order number shows on the barrels of older Parker- the serial number being on the other side of the lugs
