model 12 shells
the model 12 came out in theheavy duck job with 3 inch chambers. i know they shot the winchester brand of 3 inch shells my question is did these first 3 inch shells say magnum on them....i have a few 3 inch super x shells that say 3 inch but it says maximum load no shot amount given but i m thinking these are the 1 3/8 ounce loads no magnum markings on these shells....then i have the super xshell that says 3 inch magnum 1 5/8 ounce load....now which loadcame out with the heavy duck model 12...both of these shells are super z made by western record.....charlie

thanks this gives me the correct time period for these shells...i have 2 boxes of the magnum loads 1 5/8 ounce i have a few shells in the 3 inch 1 3/8 ounce...got to find me a box of these 1 3/8 ounce shells..i really like the way these shells look with all that writing on them...been temted to see if one of them would shoot...charlie
