I have really been after the turkeys this year, had one opportunity with my 3 frame CH 34 but the bird won the battle. Anyhow the light at first light today made the engraving pop so I took a couple of pictures with my cell phone. I hope to take another picture in the fall with a bunch of mallards and blacks.

what a nice gun no wonder the turkey won the battle you were looking at that pretty engraveing....you may have to wrap that gun up were you cannot see the beautiful features she has then beware turkey....charlie

If you can stop before you are addicted, stop now. Turkey hunting is by far the most frustrating and addictive of game animals. That is the perfect gun for Turkey hunting, btw

That has got to be my favorite Parker Pointer!

Must be a character flaw on my part , but I sure do enjoy seeing any nice Parker 10 . Let me clarify I enjoy seeing them all but 10’s have had my attention ever since I saw my grandfathers W&C Scott 10 when I was a little little guy .

Dean Romig the master of engraver identification, I say typical Harry (or Henry) Gough engraved. Very lightly cut scrolls seem to be a dead giveaway. I have a 1897 AH that seems a perfect match for the scrolls. What say you guys?? The pictured gun is 1898.

Gosh, that's a beautiful gun. I know that gun was a knockout when it was first made, but there's just something about a fine gun when it has aged so gracefully. A pleasure to carry and a privilege to hunt with I'm sure.

Thanks for posting those photos.

Half the fun is using these old guns but the other half is understanding who was involved in their manufacturer.
