Winchester 21 16 ga two barrel set
How rare are they?
One set is skeet other is field. Both serial numbers to frame. Not knowing much about 21's don't know how original it is. Might have been re stocked long ago. |
I wouldn't say that they are rare but more unccommo in that most 2 barrel sets I have seen are definitely in gauges other than 16. Close examination or Cody will be the way to determine originality. Or possibly Pauline M. If you get her some pics.

Pauline M.?

Is she the gal in Mt that works for Winchester?
If so, I have emailed her several times for unrelated info and have yet to get any response. Months ago. |
Yes. Pauline Muerrle. I have always found her to be very responsive, helpful, and of course knowledgeable.

There IS a book on the Model 21. It may hold some answers:

Thank you . Another avenue to travel.

Interesting that the paperback is priced higher than the hard cover. I have the hardcover. It's full of good data

Speaking of 16 gauge M-21's I think it was two years ago when Bill Hatfield had a field grade with 32" barrels. It is the only 32" 16 I have ever seen. I should have bought that gun and I regret not doing so quite often. The price was a little high but I would have been over that before I got home.
